Last night, my daughter asked me to jump on the trampoline with her. Typically, I enjoy jumping on the trampoline with my kids. It is hard on my knees (and one heck of a workout) but ultimately, we have a lot of fun.
When my daughter and I were jumping, she was giggling uncontrollably. I couldn’t get enough of it. I’m sure I was smiling ear to ear.
Below is my attempt to record her laughing with my cell phone. I apologize for the up and down movement. I had to jump on the trampoline to get her to laugh.

It doesn’t matter what kind of day I’ve had or what kind of mood I’m in. As soon as I see my kids’ smile or hear them laugh, everything else goes away.
That’s why I love being a dad.
If I could only figure out a way to bottle their joy…
